A.Z.

2002-

I was born in Boston and moved to Southeast Michigan early, growing up in Saline, Dexter, and then Ann Arbor.

I originally moved to Chicago for school, spending five years to earn two degrees in economics and journalism, and I’m still based in the city.

I’m fascinated by and passionate about discovering new music, the Midwestern United States, local journalism, sports in culture throughout history, and vexillology.

My previous work has spanned editorial writing, social media strategy and execution, and PR/communications support.
